Missions Ministry

About Missions Ministry

The Missions Ministry of North Park Worship Centre (NPWC) strives to fulfill and perform the mandate of Matthew 25:35-36:

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” — Matthew 25:35-36 (NIV)

God opens the door for evangelism and the witnessing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for we are sent to serve God and the people of God. This mandate is fulfilled through commitment, prayer, service, and dedication.

The Missions Ministry is committed to build disciples to win the world through North Park Worship Centre’s core values: Worship, Instruction, Fellowship, and Evangelism. We provide resources for in-depth mission and evangelism education. We also promote a holistic method to missions, augmented by a hands-on approach. This combination offers us many opportunities to evangelize.

North Park Missions Ministry invites and unites communities in and outside of our doors. We are mindful of the needs of our community and events are planned in response to its needs. The Mission Ministry encourages participation and extends an open invitation to all. We also convene with and support the mission and ministry objectives of the Church of God of Prophecy, locally and globally.

The Missions Ministry is the legs of social justice at North Park. Domestic violence, human trafficking, and elder care are social justice issues which affect us all, in some way, shape or form. Therefore, we urge you to come alongside us to work together for the common good, both locally and internationally.
