October is recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. North Park Worship Centre joins the rest of Canadians and others in raising awareness and gaining a better understanding of breast cancer. Many individuals and families have been impacted in some way. You yourself may have a personal story about breast cancer. We applaud you for your courage in helping to bring awareness, and we journey with you as members and friends of NPWC.
North Park will take some time this month to also bring awareness to different cancer types that affect individuals and families such as breast cancer and prostate cancer. Please check our weekly announcements, and the website for more information.
On Sunday October 6, we encourage everyone to wear pink to our Sunday morning service in support of those who have been impacted by breast cancer. On Sunday October 13 we encourage everyone to wear blue to our Sunday morning service in support of those who have been impacted by prostate cancer.
We continue to pray for the healing of individuals and families who are dealing with a cancer diagnosis, and celebrate with them when they win.
