About Rose Ministry
R.O.S.E. Community Outreach was birthed from the compassionate heart of a member of North Park. She saw many young mothers ages 16-21 who were experiencing financial, emotional or social challenges and needed support. In response, she built a support team of volunteers from various fields of expertise to begin this outreach ministry. It started within the local church and moved out into the community.
R.O.S.E. signifies:
Respect | Mothers should be respected regardless of their age |
Outreach | Young mothers should not be left behind, but, met at their point of need |
Support | Young mothers will receive the necessary support in order to make positive choices and to reach their goals |
Empower | Every young mother has potential and will be given guidance to improve her life and in turn strengthen her family |
Vision
We believe that God has created everyone to fulfill a purpose. R.O.S.E. is a program designed to empower young mothers to take personal control of their future in order to achieve their goals and dreams.
Mission
- To achieve a community where young mothers ages 16-21 feel accepted and encouraged to live improved lives in order to positively impact their child/children.
- To provide a safe and loving environment where young mothers will express themselves, become empowered and know that they are loved.
- To embrace diversity and support any young mother to reach her full potential: emotionally, physically, spiritually, socially and intellectually.
