Sister Erma Headlam was a member of North Park Worship Centre for over two decades where she participated in and contributed to several ministry areas. The church family remembers her as kind, peaceful and loving; and she was admired for her strong faith in God.
Sister Headlam had a quiet demeanor and was always pleasant, which made her approachable. One of her friends recalled – she was a great listener, and her courage and strength did not go unnoticed because others were encouraged by her.
Her seniors ministry team lead, Marion shares this memory:
I cherished the moments I shared with sister Erma as her team lead in our Heart and Hands Seniors Ministry. She loved to pray and was always talking about her loving and caring family and friends. I will not forget her words of encouragement to remain steadfast in our faith in God no matter what we encounter in life. I was truly blessed to have met her as she has inspired me to remain faithful in my walk with the Lord.
North Park Worship Centre family and friends do miss Headlam and express our deepest condolences to her family and friends. As you reflect, take comfort in 2 Timothy 4:7-8 knowing she fought the good fight and she kept the faith because she was a child of God; and we will see her again because we shared the same faith. We pray that God will grant you peace as you go through this time of bereavement.
